Chris Cornell - statue damaged


Chris Cornell, was the popular singer of Sounder Garden and later Audio slave died at the age of 52 in 2017. The life-size statue of Chris Cornell, that stands outside the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle has been damaged.

The Museum officials reported to Seattle times that on Thursday the statue was covered with white paint or similar substance.

The damage has been assessed and the statue will be restored, the Museum officials said.

Chris Cornell statue was created by Nick Marra, is a bronze sculpture depicting late Soundgarden
vocalist Chris Cornell, installed outside the museum of Pop Culture on the Seattle. It was first displayed to the public on 7 Th October, 2018.

Chris Cornell was a popular artist. He was an singer, song writer, musician, leading vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the music groups - Audioslave, Soundgarden  (1984-2017). He was born on 20 Th July, 1964 and died on 18th May 2017.

Chris Cornell struggled with depression in his life. His death seems to be a suicide by hanging. He was found dead in the early hours of 18th May 2017 in his room in Detroit Hotel. His final performance was at Soundgarden Concert an hour earlier at the Fox Theatre.
